Technical data

This adhesive is an unfilled Borated Dextrin, having good tack, medium open time and short bonding time, making it a very useful general purpose adhesive.

It may be used cold or warm - maximum temperature 110°F (43°C) approximately. Its main application is for box covering, for use on Stokes & Smith, Caledex, Swift and Balema machines, where the covering and turning in operation is carried out by the machine or hand.

Being a very versatile adhesive, it is also eminently suitable for multi-ply tube winding and laminating.

TYPICAL PRODUCT DATA:

• Total Solids 36% - 38%
• pH 9.0 - 9.5
• Viscosity 18 - 22 poises @ 25°C Brookfield LVT Spindle 2 Speed 3
• A water-based, non-flammable adhesive.

F.D.A. STANDARDS: The materials used in this formulation conform to the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR175, 105.
